OPP operation on Tuesday in Odessa

More information is expected on Wednesday following a large OPP presence in Odessa on Tuesday.

Around 4:40 pm, Lennox and Addington OPP posted to social media that they had an increased police presence in the area of Main Street and Creighton Drive in Odessa due to ongoing police operations.

They were also asking people to avoid the area.

Just under four hours later (8:34 pm), they updated the public to say the police operation was over and they had cleared the scene.

There was no information on Tuesday about the nature of the police operation.
