Council hopefuls make pitch for seat in Stirling-Rawdon on Tuesday

A vacancy could be filled on Tuesday night at Stirling-Rawdon Council.

They will hear from the six people wanting to fill the seat left vacant when Ward 1 Councillor Dean Graf resigned late last year.

The report to council is included below.

REPORT

4.1. The candidates for Ward 1 Councillor will provide verbal presentations to Council.

There will be no questions or comments from members of the public or media. These presentations are an exchange of information between members of Council and the Candidates, which the members of the public and media are invited to witness.

Each candidate will advise Council as to why they should be appointed and their relevant experience.

Five (5) minutes shall be allotted for each candidate in order to ensure a fair, effective and efficient process.

Unruly behaviour or comments from the public will not be tolerated.

All in attendance are reminded that they are to be respectful of the process and all the participants.
