By Paul Martin Jan 12, 2026 | 8:42 AM

The Town of Greater Napanee will be holding a by-election to fill the vacant Ward 3 Council seat on Monday, January 19, 2026.

Advance voting started at 9:00 am on Friday, January 9.

Details about the by-election are available on the Town’s website at greaternapanee.com/elections.

Unofficial election results will be announced through the Town’s website and social media as soon as possible after the closing of polls on January 19.

Council declared the seat vacant in August following the death of Councillor Dave Pinnell Jr. in July.

The winner of the by-election will serve until elections are held in October.
