QW Skate and Social rings in the New Year Sunday

A free, family-friendly event welcomes Quinte West residents to the Duncan McDonald Community Gardens to ring in 2026 this Sunday.
Mayor Jim Harrison and members of Council invite the city to the annual Skate and Social, taking place on Sunday, Jan. 11 from 10 a.m. to noon.
Residents of all ages and skating abilities are welcome to attend.
Complimentary refreshments will be available and family-friendly activities in the arena lobby.
Skate rentals are not provided.
Participants are encouraged to wear CSA-approved safety equipment (including head, eye and facial protection) while on the ice.
