School buses cancelled again on Wednesday in Quinte

The freezing rain which encased the region in a layer of ice overnight is causing more last-minute arrangements for local parents on Wednesday.

Tri-Board has cancelled all school buses for the day.

NOTICE – Due to snow and freezing rain received overnight and continued inclement weather, all school bus and taxi transportation is cancelled in the Tri-Board Student Transportation Services area today (Wednesday, January 7th).

Schools will remain open however any students driven to school by parents/guardians will need to be picked up at the end of the day.

Mohawk Bus Lines has also cancelled their buses for Wednesday.

STSCO has also cancelled all school buses in Northumberland.

NOTICE -Please be advised that due to inclement weather and poor road conditions transportation is cancelled in Northumberland County today, schools remain open. Transportation is operating in Peterborough City and County and the Municipality of Clarington, please monitor the STSCO website for individual delays or cancellations. Posted 5:55am.
