Westbound 401 briefly closed on Tuesday night at Napanee

The westbound 401 was briefly closed on Tuesday night in the Napanee area.

The OPP reported that Highway 401 westbound was closed at Palace Road in Napanee due to a jack-knifed tractor trailer at County Road 1/Newburgh Road around 7:40 pm.

Traffic was being detoured onto Palace Road. No injuries were reported.

They cleared the scene and reopened the westbound lanes at Palace Road just over an hour later (8:46 pm).
