Quinte West OPP pulled a vehicle deemed to be unsafe off the road.

On Tuesday night, Quinte West officers conducted a traffic stop on Highway 2 after observing a defective vehicle.

There were missing lug nuts on every tire as well as several other documented deficiencies.

A 20-year-old, G2 driver from Belleville was charged with a total of seven Traffic Act offences.

His license plates were seized, and the vehicles status was updated to unfit for the road.
