Y branches will have delayed opening Monday

By Brock Ormond Dec 29, 2025 | 5:23 AM
The YMCA of Central East Ontario will be delaying opening on Monday.
Due to the current weather conditions and in order to ensure the safety of both staff and members, the Y stated facility openings in Belleville, Trenton (John Williams branch) and Peterborough will be pushed back until 7:30 a.m.
Officials say this will allow everyone additional time to travel safely.
People attending the Y are asked to monitor its website and social media pages before heading into branches in case there are any further changes.
