Belleville holding New Year’s Levee on Thursday

Belleville residents are invited to celebrate the new year at Belleville’s annual New Year’s Levee on Jan 1.

The event will be held at the Quinte Sports and Wellness Centre starting at 11 a.m. with Mayor Ellis and City Council.

Stay for a free skate from noon to 1:30pm at the Mackay Arena. Helmets are recommended.

Donations to Gleaners Foodbank will also be accepted.

This weekend, they will hold a big celebration in Prince Edward County.

The county is holding a Levee and Winter Family Fun Day on Sunday.

The celebration will take place from 1 pm to 3:30 pm at the Prince Edward Community Centre (375 Picton Main Street), with Mayor Steve Ferguson’s address scheduled for 1:15 pm.

Quinte West will also ring in the new year with a skate and social at the Dunc on Sunday, January 11th from 10 am till noon.
