Belleville police have charged a city woman with multiple counts of violating her probation.

Officers were called to a residence in the city’s east end on Monday morning regarding a report of a female breaching her probation and exhibiting threatening behaviour.

As a result of the investigation, a 25-year-old Belleville woman was arrested and charged with uttering threats, six counts of failing to comply with probation order and three counts of failing to comply with release order.

She was held for a bail hearing.
