Hawks sink Muskies on Tuesday

By Brock Ormond Dec 16, 2025 | 11:01 PM

The Trenton Golden Hawks are winners of three in a row after a 6-1 triumph over the Lindsay Muskies at the Duncan McDonald Community Gardens on Tuesday night.

Taeo Artichuk slid home a Jamie Darlison centering pass to improve his team and league-leading goal total to 26 at 8:34 to open the Trenton account.

Joey Brehmer turned around and rifled a shot from distance that hit Lindsay goalie George Cote’s glove and dropped in for his 13th of the season.

Trenton tacked on two more in the second period, with Jamie Darlison deflecting in an Artichuk pass and Lucas Digiantommaso potting his third in two games as a Golden Hawk and first at home after being acquired from the BCHL’s Surrey Eagles.

Braxton Meyers ripped a shot low on Hayden Jeffery in the dying seconds late in the second to get Lindsay on the board, but the Muskies were still too far behind to fully claw back.

Andrew Wycisk added his third as a Hawk with a seeing eye shot through traffic and Kale Mace put home the capper in the final minute to secure the victory.

Artichuk and Wycisk had three points each, and Darlison and Owen Outwater added two each, while Jeffery made 29 saves to pull Trenton within three points of first place Stouffville.

The Hawks finish out at home prior to Christmas with a game versus the Cobourg Cougars on Friday at 7:30 p.m.
