UPDATE: The watermain break on Heritage Park Drive in Greater Napanee has been repaired.
The precautionary drinking water notice will remain in effect until the town provides an official notice.
ORIGINAL STORY:
The Town of Greater Napanee is advising of a watermain break on Heritage Park Drive that may impact the following areas:
  • Heritage Park Drive
  • Church Street
  • Gateway Place
  • Ginger Street
  • Stone Street
  • Newburgh Road (Camden Road to Church St)
The break happened before 8:30 p.m. Monday and crews were on site and working diligently to repair the section of main as quickly and safely as possible.
As a precautionary measure, residents who notice low water pressure, unusual odour, or discolouration in their drinking water are advised not to consume the water until normal conditions are restored.
Crews are working to complete repairs as quickly as possible, and updates will be provided as more information becomes available.
