Community Care Northumberland has a new leader.
After a comprehensive search process, the Board of Directors announced the appointment of Jordan Prosper as the new Chief Executive Officer of CCN, effective December 22, on Thursday.
The board describes Prosper as an accomplished executive leader in Ontario’s community health sector, bringing more than 16 years of proven experience advancing innovation, collaboration, and equitable access to care.
He currently serves as Executive Director at Routes Connecting Communities in York Region, where he has provided strategic and operational leadership to more than 30 community-based programs, including transportation, Meals on Wheels, health promotion, hospice services, and adult day programs.
Prosper stated he is honoured to step into the role of Chief Executive Officer at Community Care Northumberland.
“I’m grateful and excited to join a team that makes such a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day,” he stated.
Prosper’s career also includes leadership roles with Community Care City of Kawartha Lakes, the Canadian Cancer Society, and the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre, where he advanced cancer prevention, screening, and public health education initiatives.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Jordan is an active volunteer coach and an avid golfer. He is supported by his wife Lindsey and their two young children, Lucas (6) and Morgan (4).
