Accessibility Awards handed out in Quinte West

The International Day of Persons with Disabilities is being recognized on Wednesday with a celebration of accessibility in Quinte West.

The city’s Accessibility Advisory Committee celebrated local businesses, organizations and individuals committed to accessibility in the community with the annual Accessibility Awards

Following a community nomination process, an individual, a business and a community organization were each selected to receive an award.

The 2025 award winners are Doug Jackson, Watts Accessibility Consulting and Quinte Transit.
