Two separate investigations by the Quinte West OPP on Sunday have resulted in arrests being laid, including one against a Trenton resident.
Around 8:30 p.m., officers responded to a collision where a driver was eventually arrested for being impaired.
Byron Reininger, 22, faces charges of impaired driving, operating a vehicle with a blood alcohol concentration level of 80 plus mg, failing to have insurance on hand and controlling a vehicle with an open container of liquor
About an hour later, the Quinte West OPP responded to another collision, the driver was located a short time later and arrested for being impaired.
Amber Greathouse, 29, of Thunder Bay was charged with driving while impaired by drugs and dangerous operation of a vehicle.
Both accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear in Belleville Court on December 18.
Their vehicles were impounded for seven days, and their licenses suspended for 90 days.
