Northumberland OPP is investigating a pair of break and enters reported over the weekend in Cramahe Township
Shortly after 11 a.m. on Friday, officers responded to two businesses on Industrial Park Road after foldable pedal bikes were reported stolen.
The incident is believed to have occurred between 1:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m. that morning.
Following that, police received a report of an overnight break and enter at an unoccupied residence on Orchard Road in the noon hour on Saturday.
Police say metal piping had been cut and removed from the property.
A Scenes of Crime Officer attended to assist with the investigation.
Investigators believe the incidents may be connected and motivated by metal theft.
