Four people arrested in Quinte West drug investigation

Quinte West OPP have charged four people in connection with a drug trafficking investigation.

Wednesday morning around 5 am, the OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) assisted by the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) executed search warrants at residences on Loyalist Parkway and Adrian Court, Quinte West as part of a drug trafficking investigation.

As a result, four people were arrested, and a quantity of suspected cocaine and methamphetamine was seized. Police also seized a prohibited weapon and ammunition.

Joshua HILTS of Trenton (age 30) and Kaitlin MCCRORY of Carrying Place (age 33) were both charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Methamphetamine
  • Possession of proceeds of crime
  • Possession of prohibited device or ammunition

David OSTROSKIE of Bloomfield (age 33) was charged with:

  • Possession for the purpose of trafficking – Cocaine
  • Possession of ammunition contrary to prohibition order
  • Fail to comply with probation order – two counts

Sarah HEASLIP of Trenton (age 32) has been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine.All four accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on April 24th.
