RELEASE – We are thrilled to share that the YMCA of Central East Ontario received $7,813 that was raised during the 2025 Trenton Dragon boat Festival this summer.

Connie Reid, VP Funds Development with the YMCA of Central East Ontario says “This remarkable achievement reflects the dedication and generosity of our community, volunteers, and participants who came together to support the YMCA’s mission of building healthy communities. Every dollar raised helps us continue providing vital programs and services that empower individuals and families in our community. Thank you to everyone who paddled, donated, and cheered us on—your support makes a lasting impact.”

Thank you to our event partners: Brighton Dragon Boat Club, Quinte West Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Trenton Business Association and the Trenton Rowing & Paddling Club.

Thank you to our event sponsors: Diamond Electrical Contractors, Vanderlaan Building Products Ltd., Kruger Products, Tomasso’s Italian Grille, Connon Nurseries and Brighton Backyard Blooms.

“This year’s festival brought together 13 teams and over 260 paddlers for a sunny, hot day of exciting racing! The Trenton Rowing and Paddling Club is proud to host this annual event and looks forward to seeing it grow even bigger next year. We are so thankful to all the teams who joined us, our generous sponsors, and the incredible volunteers who gave their time to make the day a success,” shared Race Director Tiffany Dranski.

We are already looking forward to next year’s event!
