Belleville Police clock driver at more than 100 km/hour over the speed limit

Belleville Police charged a driver after clocking a vehicle at more than 100 km/hour over the speed limit.

On November 4th (Tuesday) at 8:50pm, Belleville Police were conducting traffic enforcement on Bell Blvd when a vehicle was recorded driving at 169 km/hr in a 50 km/hr zone.

As a result, an 18-year-old Burnstown man was charged with stunt driving under the Highway Traffic Act and issued a summons with a court date in December.

His vehicle was impounded for 14 days and his license suspended for 30 days.
