City of Belleville officials are advising residents there will be no threat to public safety during upcoming live fire training
Belleville Fire & Emergency Services will be holding the training at Station #2 on 72 Moira Street Thursday through Sunday.
During this time, residents may see “smoke” in the area, which the city states is “theatrical and non-toxic.”
The training unit being utilized is propane-based and uses simulated smoke to create realistic scenarios for crews to train with.
