Belleville Council will gather to finalize the spending plan for capital projects in the city on November 18th.

Council was presented with the overview for next year’s Capital Budget and the 10-year Capital Plan at their regular meeting on Monday (October 27th).

Belleville’s Draft 2026 Capital Budget is worth $55.5 million, a slight increase from 2025’s $53.7 million.

Projects for next year include:

– Bridge St. E – Farley to Haig for five million dollars

– $4.35 million for the Road Resurfacing Program

– $9.5 million for a Water and Wastewater Facility

– More than $1.9 million for two rural fire pumpers

– $3.9 million for five transit bus replacements
