The approval of a new Multi-Year Strategic Plan is aiming to set a path forward for the next five years for the local catholic school board.
The Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board is sharing the 2025-2030 plan following its approval at a Board of Trustees meeting on Tuesday.
The plan outlines the board’s goals and aspirations for the next five years under the four key priorities: Faith, Equity and Well-Being, Formation and Achievement, and Stewardship of Resources.
In the spring of 2025, the MYSP Steering Committee hosted four dedicated consultation days to gather meaningful feedback and engage with a diverse range of voices from Catholic School communities.
These included students, school staff, board office staff, families, parish priests, and community partners.
Director of Education David DeSantis stated all voices have been instrumental to help the board create its goals and aspirations.
