Saying “yes” to ENCORE has paid off for a Bancroft woman.
Denise A. of Bancroft. She matched the last six of seven ENCORE numbers in exact order in the September 12, 2026 LOTTARIO draw to win $100,000.
Denise said before this, the biggest prize she’d ever won was $1,000. “I’ve never won anything like this. I love to play ENCORE because you just never know,” she shared while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to pick up her winnings.
“I checked my ticket on the OLG app and to my delight, I saw a huge prize amount of $100,000! I whistled to my husband to come and see. His reaction was pretty calm,” Denise said with a smile.
Denise would like to put her windfall toward bringing her passion for wellness and caring for others to life by opening a wellness and glamping retreat. “It would be a quiet forest escape where guests can disconnect to reconnect,” she concluded.
ENCORE offers 22 ways to win and can be played in conjunction with most lottery games for an extra $1. There are two ENCORE draws every day.
The winning ticket was purchased at Terry’s Gas & Variety on Mississauga Street in Curve Lake.
