Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) is pleased to make a second quarter (July 1 – September 30) payment totaling $806,876 to the City of Belleville for hosting Shorelines Casino Belleville.
So far, during OLG’s fiscal year (April 1, 2026 to March 31, 2027), Belleville has received $1,605,715. Since the gaming site opened in January 2017, Belleville has received $27,021,566.
These payments to host communities are based on a formula in the Municipality Contribution Agreement that is consistently applied across all land-based casino sites in Ontario using a graduated scale of gaming revenue at the hosted site.
“OLG’s Municipality Contribution Agreement provides Belleville with a share of local casino revenue to invest and enhance our community,” said Tyler Allsopp, Member of Provincial Parliament for Bay of Quinte. “Gaming facilities generate economic activity, support local jobs and investment, and provide revenue that helps fund priorities that are important to the people of Ontario.”
Since 1994, host communities have received more than $2.4 billion in non-tax gaming revenue.
