By Hailey MacDonald Sep 26, 2025 | 7:32 AM

Hastings County’s complement of doctors has grown by one.

Ryan McConnell has become the 27th doctor to sign on with the County’s Family Physician Recruitment Program.

He will practice family medicine at the Gateway Community Health Centre in Tweed.

Dr. McConnell is a 2023 graduate of the Northern Ontario School of Medicine and recently completed his family medicine residency at Queen’s Medical School in May of this year.
