Quinte West mayoral candidate, Zack Card, has received the endorsement of the Quinte Labour Council in his bid to become the city’s next mayor.
Card stated in a media release that his campaign cuts across traditional lines to address Quinte West residents’ issues and supporting workers and protecting vulnerable tenants is a hallmark of what they are aiming for.
“Longstanding labour values of democracy are embodied in our commitment to voting equality in reforming Quinte West’s ward system,” he stated.
“We also understand how hard residents work for their paycheque and the role affordability plays in making Quinte West a better city for workers.”
