Barricades and police tape have been removed in the area around the Sons of Jacob Synagogue as police have cleared and released the scene.
Belleville Police notified the media shortly after 5 pm that the area around Victoria and Bleeker Avenue would be fully cleared at 5:30 pm.
Homeowners and vehicle owners are now free to return or retrieve their vehicles.
The SIU updated media on Tuesday afternoon that the suspected shooter in the case, 29-year-old Sean Ward, has died.
He was critically injured after shots rang out Sunday night, striking the synagogue, and several vehicles and homes in the surrounding area.
A post mortem examination is being held in Kingston on Wednesday.
