Paving operations to get underway in Belleville parks in coming weeks

By Hailey MacDonald Oct 25, 2025 | 7:53 AM

Over the next couple of weeks, paving operations will get underway in a few of Belleville’s parks, including:

Clifford Sonny Belch Park:

Preparatory paving work is now underway and beginning Wednesday, Oct 29, the walking trails and northeast parking lot will be paved. This work is expected to take one week. The park will remain open, but the northeast parking lot will be closed for a full week.

Parkdale Veterans Park:

On Monday, Oct 27, the walking path at Parkdale Veterans Park will be paved. The trail is expected to be completed and reopened by the following day.

Quinte Rowing Club (35 Keegan Pkwy):

On Tuesday, Oct 28, the Quinte Rowing Club parking lot will be paved. The parking lot will remain closed for one week.

While using these parks, the public is asked to please stay out of the construction zones and follow the directions of workers.

This work is weather permitting and the dates may be shifted due to rain.
