The local public school board will continue to partner with Belleville Transit and Quinte Transit for the 2026-2027 school year to help kids in the area get to school safe and sound.
HPEDSB is offering transit passes again to Bayside, Centennial and Eastside students in Grades 9-12 through Belleville Transit.
Students will receive an email to their HPEDSB student email account with instructions to sign up and download the B-Tap app.
Grade 10-12 students who registered previously will retain their transit pass access through graduation.
Details have been sent directly to the HPEDSB student email accounts of all returning pass holders.
If you do not wish for your child to participate in the Belleville program, you are asked to fill out the Opt-Out of Student Belleville City Bus Pass form that was sent to parent/caregiver emails by September 4.
Trenton High School students from Grades 7-12 will go through Quinte Transit and school board officials say details will be coming through the school in the coming weeks.
These partnerships offer increased flexibility and independence for students to attend school, work, extracurricular activities and expand their cooperative education opportunities.
