Locally heavy rainfall is calling for another Special Weather Statement from Environment Canada.
The national weather agency says additional local rainfall amounts of 20 to 40 mm are possible by the end of Sunday.
Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are bringing locally heavy rainfall to the area. Water will likely pool on roads and in low-lying areas.
Quinte-area residents are warned to not drive through flooded roadways, avoid low-lying areas and watch for washouts near rivers, creeks and culverts.
Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada.
Monday’s forecast will see cloudy skies with a slight chance of showers in the morning.
A few showers are then expected to begin near noon with a risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon.
