Culvert replacement work to take place on Mohawk Territory

The start of the week will mark some work for the Mohawks of the Bay of Quinte Roads Department.

MBQ officials advise that workers will be replacing two cross culverts on Lower Slash Road, east of the Bells Road intersection on Monday, August 24.

If it is raining Monday, culvert replacements will take place on Tuesday, August 25.

The MBQ says traffic will be reduced to one lane to allow for the work to be completed.

Drivers are asked to expect delays and find an alternate route if possible.
