Construction begins soon on the Avonlough Sewage Pumping Station

Another week, another construction project has the checkered flag in Belleville.
The first phase of construction for the Avonlough Sewage Pumping Station will start Tuesday, September 1st. The timeline is two years.  Crews will be focusing on installing a sewer forcemain, resurfacing the road, and replacing curbs along Bridge Street West. The work will be centered between Palmer Road and Marshall Road in the west-end, to help further support future growth and housing developments. A new sewer forcemain will be installed between the new pumping station, Bridge Street West and Marshall Road.
Single-lane closures will appear along Bridge Street West, between Palmer Road and Marshall Road.
