A teenager from Belleville has been charged in connection with incidents at Belleville General Hospital early Thursday morning.
After 6 a.m., Belleville Police responded to a call for service where it was reported that a male who had been taken to the hospital made threatening comments toward staff members.
Further investigation revealed that the male had been transported to hospital by local paramedics multiple times within 24 hours, despite no new injuries being identified.
Police also learned that he had previously been warned about the misuse of 911 services.
A 19-year-old Belleville man was arrested and charged with intimidation of a health care professional.
He was released on an Undertaking with a court date in October.
