The Wellington Dukes and Trenton Golden Hawks have their 56-game schedules set for the upcoming OJHL season.
The league released the schedule Wednesday, with each of its 24 teams playing 27 games in their home arenas and 27 on the road, along with two games each at the Governors’ Showcase in Niagara Falls from Oct. 5-7.
The Dukes fell in the first round to Pickering last season after a sixth place regular season finish.
They will welcome the Lindsay Muskies to Lehigh Arena for their home and season opener Friday, Sept. 4 at 7:30 p.m.
The Hawks, fresh off a second-round exit last season against the eventual East Conference champion Newmarket Hurricanes, will have to wait until Sept. 18 until they get to play in front of their home faithful, taking on the Stouffville Spirit at 7:30 that night.
Trenton will open its season in Lindsay at 7 p.m. Sept. 11, before heading to Westwood Arena in Toronto the next night to face the defending Buckland Cup champion Patriots.
Training camps are slated to begin later in August.
