An investigation into a damaged business early last month has resulted in charges this week.
Around 9:20 a.m. on June 6, Belleville Police responded to a call for service on Front Street, where they were told by an employee arriving at work that a window had been broken overnight.
Officers reviewed surveillance footage and observed a woman attending the business, kicking the window, and then fleeing the scene on foot.
Through continued investigation, officers were able to identify a suspect.
Jessica Cruse-White, a 28-year-old Belleville woman of no fixed address, was located, arrested, and charged on Thursday with mischief under $5000 and failing to comply with a probation order.
She was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in November.
