Traffic was backed up Thursday as a result of a crash on Highway 401.
Around 1:30 p.m., members of the Greater Napanee Fire Department and the OPP, and Paramedics were dispatched to the 401 before the Deseronto Road exit for the collision.
A caller to police reported a piece of a tractor trailer fell off and went into the windshield of another vehicle.
Emergency crews also found a vehicle that had reportedly ended up in the ditch on its wheels.
Injuries were reported to vehicle occupants, but there’s no details on their severity.
