Quinte West has postponed the fireworks display for Wednesday night due to harsh weather.
They posted the following message on Facebook shortly after 7 pm.
⚠️ FIREWORKS TONIGHT POSTPONED ⚠️
Due to inclement weather, tonight’s fireworks have been postponed until tomorrow evening (July 2).
Additionally, all live music performances scheduled for the remainder of this evening have been cancelled.
Thank you for your understanding. We look forward to celebrating with you tomorrow night in Centennial Park at dusk!
As of 7:30, Belleville was still planning to go ahead with the fireworks display on Wednesday.
