Quinte Ride for Paws Poker Run raises $11,500-plus

A motorcycle ride to support local animals was a great success this past weekend.

Pending additional donations, more than $11,500 was raised from the Quinte Ride for Paws Poker Run.

More than 200 riders were on hand to help support the Fixed Fur Life, Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre, and Hastings Prince Edward Humane Society organizations.

Over the past 15 years, thousands of animals have been given a second chance thanks to the success of this event.
