It’s truly going to feel like a sizzling summer this week.
It kicks off with mostly sunshine and a high reaching 29, with the humidex values at 32, before things heat up more.
Tomorrow, the region could feel temperatures up toward 39 degrees with the humidity, followed by highs of 33 on Canada Day Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
Not much relief is expected by the weekend either, with a projected high of 31 on Saturday, and a high only cooling to 28 on Sunday.
As of now, there will be lots of sunshine and only a bit of cloud expected, but there will be a slight possibility of rain sprinkled in throughout the week.
Cooling stations will be open across the region.
