An arrest has been made in connection to possession of a firearm in Belleville.
Belleville Police responded to the city’s east end around 6 p.m. Thursday and reviewed video footage from earlier in the day, observing a male suspect holding a firearm.
A 32-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address, was located, arrested and charged with two counts each of possession of a firearm contrary to prohibition order and failure to comply with a probation order.
He was held for a bail hearing.
