A Belleville man charged in connection with motorcycle theft Wednesday.
Around 12:30 p.m., Belleville Police attended a business on Moira St. East regarding a theft. Staff reported that they observed a male enter the business property and attempt to steal a motorcycle belonging to an employee.
The suspect began moving the motorcycle; however, he was confronted by an employee. The male then dropped the motorcycle and fled the scene.
Shortly afterward, police received a separate call in the area reporting a male attempting to enter vehicles and backyards.
As a result of investigation, Trevor Wynn, 43-year-old Belleville man, was located, arrested and charged with theft of a motor vehicle.
He was released on an Undertaking with a scheduled court date in September.
