UPDATE: A Belleville woman who was the subject of a police search has been located.
City Police updated residents, saying the female was found around 3:50 p.m. Wednesday.
Police did not give any details on what the woman was being sought for.
The Belleville Police Service thanks the public for their assistance.

The search is on for a woman in Belleville.
Belleville Police is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 27-year-old female, described as 5’7 and approximately 135 lbs.
She was last seen wearing a dark hoodie, blue jeans, and carrying a black Nike backpack and a satchel.
