Belleville Police have laid failing to comply charges in two separate incidents in the city on Monday.
Fail to Comply
On June 22, 2026, at 12:45 p.m., Belleville Police received a report that a female had reportedly breached her release conditions by contacting her ex-partner via electronic communication and in-person. As a result of investigation, Belleville Police located, arrested, and charged a 34-year-old Gananoque woman with:
· Fail to comply with probation order
· Fail to comply with undertaking X2
She was held for a bail hearing.
Fail to Comply
On June 23, 2026, at 12:53 a.m., Belleville Police responded to a report of a disturbance. It was reported that a male, known to the complainant, had entered her property, refused to leave, and was causing a disturbance.
Upon police arrival, the male fled out the back of the residence into a wooded area. Officers conducted a search and located him shortly afterward. As a result of investigation, a 40-year-old Belleville man, was arrested and charged with:
· Fail to comply with probation order X4
He was held for a bail hearing.
