Highway 62 closed overnight following collision in PEC

More information is expected on Monday following a crash that closed a busy highway in Prince Edward County overnight.

PEC OPP posted around 9:30 Sunday night on social media that Highway 62 was closed between County Road 14 and Jericho Road following a collision in the area.

Motorists were being advised to avoid the area and use alternate routes.

It was shut down for about four hours, reopening at 1:30 on Monday morning.

There is no word yet on injuries.
