By Brock Ormond May 13, 2026 | 2:42 PM

The Prince Edward Fitness and Aquatic Centre has new funding and a PEC Councillor appointed to its board of directors.

At its meeting Tuesday night, Council approved a Board Observer, which is a Councillor to sit on the PEFAC board ex-officio.

The group chose John Hirsch to sit on the board.

The funding is in place to ensure the centre remains stable in its current location on Loyalist Parkway in Picton.
