Pedestrian disruptions in Picton Thursday and Friday

By Brock Ormond Apr 23, 2026 | 12:07 PM

An advisory is sent out to pedestrians in the area of Paul and Jane Streets in Picton over the next couple of days.

Prince Edward County officials say First General Contractors will be completing exterior building work at 20 Paul Street in Picton on Thursday, April 23 and Friday, April 24.

The work will take place between 7 am and 7 pm both days.

Due to installation of scaffolding that will partially encroach onto the sidewalk, temporary pedestrian pathway adjustments may be required. Onsite personnel will be present to assist and safely guide pedestrians around the work zone. Pedestrian disruptions will also occur on the sidewalk adjacent to the work area on Jane Street.

Pedestrians are asked to approach the site with caution or avoid the construction area if possible.
