Several top 10 finishes and a bronze at nationals for Quinte Legion athletes

Quinte Legion Lynx athletes performed well at the Canadian Indoor Track and Field Championships in Toronto.

Isla Bibby earned a bronze medal in the U20 pole vault with a vault of 3.45m and also took 5th place in seniors women’s pole vault event.

Josh Thomas placed 4th in both U20 high jump with a mark of 1.91m and seniors High Jump with a leap of 1.98m.

Five other athletes placed inside the Top 10.

Isla Kamik finished 5th in the U16 women’s pole vault discipline, Charlee Sage nabbed 6th in U18 pole vault and 10th in 60m hurdles, Ben Poyner placed 5th and Hudson Brown 6th in U18 mens pole vault and Griffin Coffey slid into 9th and Ben Poyner finished 10th in U20 mens pole vault.
