Hospice Quinte programs are getting a major stamp of approval from a provincial organization.
Hospice Quinte has earned first-time accreditation from Hospice Palliative Care Ontario, recognizing that its In-Home Hospice and Hospice Residence programs meet rigorous provincial standards for quality and compassionate care.
The organization received an outstanding score of 97.34-per cent during the accreditation process.
The accreditation process assessed the organization against rigorous standards related to governance, operations, quality improvement, and service excellence.
Hospice Quinte officials say this achievement reflects the organization’s ongoing commitment to providing exceptional hospice palliative care to individuals and families across
the Quinte region.
“To not only achieve accreditation in our first review, but to receive such an exceptional score, is truly extraordinary and speaks volumes about the quality of care, teamwork, and commitment demonstrated by everyone at Hospice Quinte,” stated Petra Lepage, Executive Director of Hospice Quinte.
