Death at Joyceville Institution

An inmate at Joyceville Institution has died.

Correction Service Canada has revealed that the 78-year-old died of apparent natural causes. The person’s name has not been revealed, due to a court-ordered publication ban.

Next of kin has been notified. The person had been serving a six-year sentence since August 2024.
