Northumberland County OPP were called to an address Wednesday night in Cramahe Township.
Officers received a report, that a youth had brandished an edged weapon during a verbal altercation at an address on Deele Road, shortly before 6:30 p.m.
A 16-year-old boy was arrested. Police believe that in a previous incident, the teen brandished a firearm and took a vehicle without permission.
The teen has now been charged with pointing a firearm, unauthorized use of a firearm, mischief under $5,000, uttering threats – cause death or bodily harm, and taking a motor vehicle without consent.
He has held for a Cobourg court appearance.
